Under the auspices of the Student Organization of the University of Primorska (SOUP), from 31 August to 2 September, the Frivolus Festival of Street Artists will take place again in Koper.
The entire program of Frivolus is free. A children's program will be held between 10am and 12am in the morning and between 4 and 10pm the program will be suitable for all ages. The main performances will be held at 21:00 on Tito's Square at 9 pm, while the other performances will be held at the Carpaccio Square and the market at the Triglav Café and Tea Vanilla, Hlavaty Park, Verdi and Čevljarska Street, a viewing point along the elevator (Belvedere) and the city promenade.
"With the help of humor, theatricality, music and magic, we strive to laugh and enchant all visitors of the event," says project leader Nika Stegovec.
The festival will host more than 30 performances of street artists from Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Argentina, Chile and Slovenia. The first performance of the festival is a puppet show from France which begins on Thursday, August 31, at 10 am in Hlavaty Park.
On Friday night at 9pm, on August 31, the Fire Show will be performed and Murray Molloy sword swallower will perform, on Saturday, 1.9., the multiinstrumentalist and self-taught Roberto Heruzzo and Aerial Circus with an acrobatic performance on air fabrics Aquariom will be held o Tito Square.
In case of bad weather, the performances on 31.8. and 1.9. will took place at the Youth Center Koper, on 2.9. in Taverna.
For all possible questions and information about the festival, an information point at Tito Square will be available throughout the festival. "In addition to the ones listed during the event, we invite visitors to discover the selected flavors of Frivolus and try all the unforgettable experiences," concluded the project manager.
